Referral Program Agreement

The Program lets eligible Candles users invite others to the Candles app and, when qualifying conditions are met, receive promotional rewards. Rewards described in the app or on https://www.buycandles.xyz/support/refer-friends are promotional summaries only and are controlled by this Agreement.

No purchase necessary. Participation in the Program does not require a purchase. While supplies last. The Program is void where prohibited.

To participate as a referrer or referred user, you must:

• be legally able to use the Candles Services in your jurisdiction,
• have a Candles account in good standing,
• comply with this Agreement, the Terms of Use, and applicable law,
• not be prohibited from receiving promotional rewards under sanctions, AML, or other applicable rules.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate Program participation for any account at our discretion, including where we detect abuse, fraud, or policy violations.

Eligible users may receive a personal referral link or code in the Candles app. When a new user signs up through that link or code and completes the eligible activity we designate for the Program (for example, qualifying trading activity), a referral relationship may be recorded.

Only one referral attribution generally applies per referred account. Self-referrals, circular referrals, and referrals between accounts you control are not eligible.

4.1 Reward type. Rewards are distributed in USDC (or another asset we designate) as a promotional benefit, not as wages, interest, or investment returns. USDC is a third-party stablecoin; Candles does not guarantee its value, convertibility, or availability.

4.2 Calculation. Unless we publish different Program terms in the app, qualifying referrer rewards may equal a percentage of eligible trading fees generated by direct referrals while the Program is active. Current promotional descriptions may state up to 100% of eligible fees from direct referrals. Exact rates, eligible fee definitions, timing, and caps can change.

4.3 Conditions. Rewards are not earned until we determine that eligibility checks have passed. We may delay, withhold, reverse, or claw back rewards for failed trades, refunds, chargebacks, cancelled activity, suspected abuse, error, or legal/compliance reasons.

4.4 Limits.We may impose caps, geographic limits, inventory limits, or other restrictions. “While supplies last” means rewards may end when budget, inventory, or Program capacity is exhausted.

You may not:

• use bots, scripts, or automated means to generate referrals or rewards,
• misrepresent Candles, the Program, or reward amounts,
• spam, phish, or use deceptive marketing to obtain referrals,
• create fake, duplicate, or coordinated accounts to farm rewards,
• violate advertising, consumer-protection, or anti-spam laws,
• interfere with Program tracking, attribution, or eligibility systems.

Violation may result in forfeiture of rewards, account restriction, and other remedies.

The Program is promotional and may be modified, paused, or ended at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law. Changes apply prospectively unless we state otherwise. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

You are solely responsible for any taxes arising from Program rewards. We may report rewards or request tax information where required by law. Rewards have no cash value except as expressly provided through the Services.

This Agreement is part of your agreement with Candles. If there is a conflict between this Agreement and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control for non-Program matters, and this Agreement controls for Program-specific matters unless we expressly state otherwise.

Disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute terms in the Terms of Use apply to the Program.
